Canine Wellness: Diet

All dog foods are not created equal. We recommend the feeding of a national brand high quality dog food. Puppies should be fed puppy food for 6-12 months then switched to a high quality adult food. Dry foods have an advantage over canned foods in that they exercise the teeth and gums and their natural abrasives help maintain dental health. Please inform the doctor if you are feeding a home cooked or raw food diet.
