dave leahy
Dr. David Leahy
DVM

Dr. David Leahy is a native of upstate NY. He graduated from Cornell University Vet School. He founded Community Veterinary Center in 2001 alongside Dr. Peter Ingraham. He works part time, and his primary interests are in orthopedic procedures. In his free time, he enjoys carpentry and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Jennifer Baker
DVM

Dr. Baker grew up in the Hudson Valley region of New York and earned her BS degree at Cornell University. She obtained her DVM from the University of Missouri-College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been a member of the CVC veterinary team since 2004. Dr. Baker enjoys all aspects of general medicine, surgery, and dentistry and has medical and surgical experience with small exotic animals including rats, mice, ferrets, rabbits and guinea pigs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, gardening, and cooking.

Dr. Trevor Ostrander
DVM

Dr. Ostrander is an Oneonta native. He received his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Cornell University and then earned his DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon returning home he joined Community Veterinary Center in the summer of 2006 and has enjoyed being back in his hometown where he has developed close relationships with his clients and patients. His special interests are dermatology, ophthalmology, and airway surgery of the brachycephalic breeds. He is a lifelong mountain biker, skier and enjoys camping with his wife in two children.

Dr. Joseph Wilson
DVM

Dr. Wilson was born and raised in the Oneonta area. He obtained his DVM from the University of Purdue and worked in a mixed animal practice in Pennsylvania before coming back home to Community Veterinary Center. Dr. Wilson enjoys teaching and in his free time enjoys a round of golf or playing video games.

john leahy
Dr. John Leahy

DVM

Dr. John Leahy grew up in Otego. He earned his DVM from Cornell University. He practiced mixed animal medicine for in western NY before moving back to the area. Although having just recently joined the practice, he has worked at CVC for most of his teenage and college years. He enjoys spending time playing guitar, hiking, and rooting for the Buffalo Bills.
